Contouring of the aperture vs. length plot for natural microfractures (using a powerful new spreadsheet developed by yrstrly) reveals no discernable inner complexity of the distribution. The highest contours for digitally-measured and hand-measured cracks do not coincide, nor do they yield the same aspect ratio. This is why my leads Wednesday and Friday will feature a little extra sadness--so be on the lookout!
