sudden, unannounced casting couch show saturday!!!yes, you heard me right, we'll be playing a show tomorrow (probably "today," depending when you're reading this) at The Yokel Party at Catalyst Studio, which is "by the park by the dog park" at 901 Edgecliff Terrace. we'll be up at four, followed by a bunch of amazing bands including hitchhike at 6. come see us play! it's our last show before we dive into the recording studio all next week!

KUT has archived the casting couch's performance on eklektikos with john aielli! in case you missed it the other day, you can now go hear it for the first time! alternately, if you heard it first-run, you can now listen obsessively, over and over and over...without using up lynn's webspace...

testing my new-found website admin skills, also just interesting photos to delight and amaze you!from the other night at the Hole in the Wall gig...

johnston on telephone and musical saw, opened up with a brilliant acoustic set...
darling new neighbors played an amazingly vibrant set immediately after, with some help from Lynn on the tuba...
and then came the casting couch!
LAST week, we had two gigs in 24 hours, starting off with the sunday night show @ emo's...
and then, of course, sara jumped on stage to help out with "copper girl"
and then we all joined lynn on the pianer for "mix tape"!
