The Casting Couch Blog...

Deep Thoughts about hair, our refurbished website, possibly about stuffed doggie toys (elephants) and general musings about the new and old year
1.12.2006
Hello there, readers of the The Casting Couch b(log). Long time no write from me... 2005 was quite a little undertaking, now wasn't it? The walls of Communism were torn down as we watched on our television sets, we all finally figured out how to solve at least one side of a rubix cube. Pointy toed shoes were in and still aesthetically distasteful, and we all wore big plastic earrings that matched the threads in our straight-legged, if not peg-legged, jeans...

Alas, I am writing to say that our website has been refurbished... kind of like mini disc microphones that you can get for cheaper at the Sony outlet store. Yes, just like that. It's a bit of the same, yet slightly different, and still fairly discounted. One only has so much time. However, there are new pictures to see, new press(es) to read, new links to songs...

We would like to thank everyone who came to our uber successful CD release show during the pre-holidays. We had a great time, and we enjoyed seeing the Orange Mothers as always.

What's in store for The Casting Couch for 06? New haircuts, better shoes, working car door latches, mended broken windows, practice room reorganization projects, greater participation in organized sports, more air america, less focus on the family radio, new songs, more communication with the outside world, an exciting tour (march), an exciting sxsw (several day shows in a row (your boat), probably free beer... we'll keep you posted), and lots of fun and exciting unmentionables on the way. and more shoes.

i must get my sleep in order to embark upon such lofty goals first thing in the morning.
